HEALTH PAPERS:
Every state has their own laws governing what tests are required to transport into your state. You can check with
your vet, as to what is needed, or visit the web site listed here
http://www.aphis.usda.gov/vs/sregs/ to see what tests are required to enter your state.
All Health Certificates are the responsibility of the buyer. Usually there is a farm visit charge and a charge for
the physical inspection plus the charge for any blood work done.
Transporting
We expect our buyers to make the animals comfortable and keep them safe during their transport to their new home.
We request that the buyer use a animal crate large enough to accommodate the size of the goat that you are transporting,or
truck with cap.For large animals a stock trailer or stake truck is required. If your crate will be in a truck bed we
ask that you tarp the crate to protection from the wind, rain, sun, etc. We ask that you place enough bedding in any
of the above mentioned means of transport to allow the animals to be comfortable and in a crate..enough bedding so as not
to have to lay in urine the whole trip. We will not allow an animal to leave this farm if the buyer intends to tether
this animal in the back of an open pick up bed.
We also reserve the right to refuse to sell or allow transportation of any of our animals with those persons we feel
will not be responsible for their welfare.
After you have pick up your animal we are no longer responsible for that animal.
