BUSINESS HISTORY FOR FRAMES GALORE

FRAMES GALORE was established in 1977 as a retail location for ready made picture frames. Over the years, it evolved into a reputable custom picture framing business.
In 1997, FRAMES GALORE was purchased by Peter and Rhonda Smith who developed the business into one of the top custom framers in the area with a clientel including such celebrities as Dolly Parton, Bonnie Franklin, Tom Arnold, Tawny Little-Welch, Jean Smart, Tom Green, Marty Ingles, The Van Pattens, etc.
The secret to the popularity is Quality and Integrity. FRAMES GALORE takes great pride in its designs and craftsmanship and treats all it's customers with the utmost curtesy and respect. All work is done on the premises by Peter Smith, assuring that each project gets the attention it deserves.
Due to it's reputation and history, FRAMES GALORE was recommended in the article "How To Find The Right Framer" by The Los Angeles Times 04/2003.
As of January 2, 2006, Frames Galore will take over ownership of another popular framer in Sherman Oaks called The Great Frame-Up. The location at 14437 Ventura will be closed and merged with the new larger location at 13317 Ventura. The new store will be a complete picture framing design center with a designing salon and a gallery. The larger facility will also allow us to handle larger volume and more diversified services while still maintaining the "Personal Touch" that Frames Galore is known for.
