Archaeology projects involve two things: First, the recreation of a bona-fide archaeological artifact from biblical times. Secondly, a research journal, which includes research papers on your artifact, a web page and research on some subjects pertaining to biblical customs in New Testament times. These are group projects and everyone in the group will receive a grade based on the level of their work and participation in the group. The archaeology project represents 10% of your individual grade. Generally, the projects will be chosen and worked on in class during the third or fourth quarter and will take several weeks.
