What is your policy regarding "late" work.

Work is considered late if it is not turned in when assignments are asked for in class.  Once in a while we all run into circumstances which are beyond our control.  Should this happen, please have a parent write a note to me explaining the circumstances.   I will accept the assignment for full credit so long as it is accompanied by a parent note.   Late assignments slow down the process of getting papers back to everyone else in a timely manner,  so I cannot make repeated exceptions for the same people, as it is not fair to others who are entitled to have his paper returned quickly, nor is it fair to the student who stayed up late to make sure he turned his paper in on time.

When you are sick:   I put the extra time to post assignments on this website in order to help students stay current.  If you are ill, check the website for homework and make every effort to be caught up by the second class session after your return.
