Mr. Fredette  has a B.A. in Religious Studies from Cal State University, Fullerton with an emphasis on Jewish - Christian relations, a B.A. in Catholic Philosophy from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, Berkeley, with an additional two years' post-graduate work in theology, including additional classes in biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek) from the Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley. In addition, he has three years, post-graduate work in the school of Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University, CA.   and has been certified to teach secondary school religion from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.   In addition, he is certified by PADI as a Rescue Diver.

Mr. Fredette has also served as Religious Studies Department Chair for ten years, served as Summer School Principal at SF for five years, taught New Testament Greek (two years) and has moderated a variety of student clubs including the Dive Club, Armenian Student Association, Basque Student Alliance, Students for Life, SPARC, Anime,  and previously served for ten years on the school's committee for the National Honor Society.  In addition,  he has presented individual workshops on Block Scheduling.  His work at SF has also included participation in retreat presentations across grade levels, including the Kairos senior retreat, and Mission to Mexico.

A practicing Catholic, he is a husband and father of four sons and has taught in the Religious Studies' Department at Saint Francis for 21 years.  He lives with his cherished wife, Kathleen and his sons Andrew, Jonathan, Matthew and Joshua, in the Antelope Valley.
