THE FOURSQUARE FLAG
There's a bright flag
waving in the sky,
'Tis the Foursquare Banner
floating high,
And its colors four,
forth the story pour
Of Redemption's mighty store.
What means this flag
do you enqiure,
That it stirs devotion's fire?
What means this red
and gold and blue,
And its royal purple hue?
There's a four on the square,
And a square on the Word
Of the glor'ous flag we bear;
On the red gleams the gold,
Blue and purple fold on fold
As it rides the sunlit air
There's a four on the square,
And a square on the Word;
Of the Gospel that we bring--
And Foursquare
shall we stand
'Till o'er sea and or land
Reigns our Savior
and Coming King!
