Welcome to 3651.
3651 is an exhibition site that I, Rob Coffman, and my wife Judy have
set up for my artwork. Gallery1 will exhibit the current series of my work. The other pages will
showcase earlier works. Obviously, as I finish another batch of stuff, those will be added, and other gallery pages created.
The Homepage will contain a short description of each series
and the gallery page will just have the artwork and titles if there are any.

Modern Medieval
My latest series is executed in oil on masonite and the works are inspired
by both Medieval illuminations and paintings. The images are small and there is a complete lack of perspective that is common
in Twelfth Century artwork.
The titles of the paintings suggest a narrative, a story telling the
importance that each church or piece of public statuary, which dominates each village in this series, has on
the economy or spiritual life of the towns inhabitants.
