While kayaking with a group on the Sea of Cortez, George
Schwimmer's younger son, David, 18, was lost during
a violent wind storm. Thus began George's search--for David in the hope that he was still alive, for his body that was never
found, and finally for an understanding of who David truly was. In his search, George finally realizes that the true search,
the one we are all embarked on, is the search for self and who we really are.
