CM> Ok ok it was David Shirley...just' in case you forgot...:)
CM> You seem to be a romantic..am I right? Keep smiling!
You little sweetheart! What would ever give you that idea?
Well, I suppose that I could be called that. I do like to ponder love's mysteries and to sometimes pen a poem. Hey, how about that? Here is a gift for you, Charmaine:
Trying hard to remember,
Seems was in September,
Delight welling up in an empty heart,
A sweet innocent young girl,
Gave Santa's computer a whirl.
Tripping through my mind,
Her name cascading down,
Amid a swarm of memories;
I cannot see her, I am blind,
Trying to picture her makes me frown.
Maybe she came from far off Spain,
Thoughtful parents called her Charmaine,
Forty years back, memories still bright!
She constantly teases all the boys,
Standing on the brink of life's sweet joys.
Nineteen, hardly any years old,
Makes me feel grey and cold,
So much water passed under the bridge!
But sparkling words how they fly,
Bringing a twinkle to this old eye.
Enjoy the time she lingers here.
The cute little faces on my screen,
Now to teach her how to QUOTE!
The rush of emotion, call it cheer,
Imagine her skin, like velveteen!

do you remember when you were 19?
