All Good Things Must End ....

This has been an interesting year, we accomplished something we had on our ToDo list and it's just about over. Now that the Okeechobee Waterway is behind us we will move onto Stuart, then Vero Beach where we will stop for awhile.

Gypsy Common and the crew have performed well and learned some new lessons. There are a few maintenance chores we wish to accomplish and the best place to do that is in our homeport of Brunswick, GA. So we are headed that way.

Further north we plan to stopover in Melbourne, Titusville and Daytona Beach where we will spend a night or two at the Halifax Harbor Marina. And to round things out we have opted to anchor in two particularly nice spots - one at Pine Island, just off the ICW north of St. Augustine, the other, at the Kingsley Plantation on Amelia Island.

The beauty of the north Florida and Georgia coast has always lulled us home. The marshes are breath taking this time of year and the weather is warming more and more each day. This will be a wonderful way to end our glorious cruising this year.

When we return to Atlanta there will be interesting tales to share, and alot of pictures (for those that like that sort of thing). We continue to enjoy the support of our family and friends and remain thankful that we have the health, and ability to enjoy such a marvelous lifestyle.

If we have peaked your interest in sailing, or aroused a venturesome spirit that entices you to go cruising we would love to share more with you.

What We Missed
