This one day course presents clinicians and technicians with valuable instruction for prescribing, implementing, performing and interpreting neuroselective sensory nerve conduction threshold (sNCT) evaluations using Neurometer®CPT electrodiagnostic devices. The course integrates lecture and hands-on practice highlighted with discussions of clinical applications. A manufacturer's certificate is awarded for successfully completing the course.

• Review sensory neuroanatomy and neurophysiology.
• Review sensory neurodiagnostic techniques.
• Review sensory neuropathy and use of the sNCT CPT test to assist in the differential diagnosis.
• The proper and most efficient techniques for performing the sNCT CPT examination.
• Procedural and patient factors that could affect sNCT CPT measures.
• Proper electrode placement at appropriate test sites.
• Use of the Neuval™ CPT analysis software to record and analyze measures.
• Review of analysis software and normative database.
• Interpretation of reports.

Dr. Chado is a board certified anesthesiologist and has been Senior Medical Consultant for the manufacturer of the Neurometer®CPT devices (Neurotron, Inc., Baltimore, MD) for the past five years. During that time he has taught numerous certification training courses for hundreds of physicians and technicians domestically and internationally.
