This old Chevy van's getting a second chance at life as a pick-up. This truck is rough and should have
probably been junked but we're going to save her. This will be a pick-up when finished, lowered with a 48-54 chevy
bed probably painted satin black Rat Rod style, it's unique in that its a 6cy 3spd. column shift, which we plan to put
on the floor with a ridiculously tall shifter. First we removed all that wasn't needed, some parts of the body were set
aside for now to be used in different places later. Then the windshield frame was chopped 6".

The rear corners have been fitted and welded in (the taillamp holes will be filled in later), and the non
door side of the van forms the back panel. The front springs were cut to lower the truck and a cowl induction hoodscoop fabricated but
we probably will change this to another style scoop like on the Disco Van.
I've bought a parts van with a better eng and nice hood and hopefully we will make some more progress on
this soon.
