Looking for overnight accomodations?  Consider staying at our beautiful lodge or wooded campground in the heart of Hueston Woods State Park.

The 92-room resort lodge opened in 1967.  This magnificent A-frame structure overlooks 625-acre Acton Lake and is decorated with murals and artifacts of the Miami Indians who lived in the area.  The lodge also has a dining room, snack bar, lounge, indoor pool, outdoor pool, game room, lighted tennis courts and much more to provide hours of entertainment.  Fully equipped family cottages are also available.  For more information, the front desk at the lodge can be reached at (513) 664-3500 and reservations can be made by calling 1-800-282-7275.  Additional information can also be viewed at www.hwresort.com or www.atapark.com.

Our campground features 491 individual campsites as well as group camping areas.  Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring.  Class A campers have access to electrical outlets, showers, flush toilets, laundry facilities and a trailer waste station.  Class B camping is more primitive and is equipped with vault-type latrines and water pump stations.  Equipped camper cabins are also available.  A camp store, playground area, putt-putt course, shelter house and basketball court are also conveniently located within the campground.  The campground can be reached at (513) 523-1060 for more information.  Reservations can be made by calling 1-866-644-6727 or by visiting our Ohio State Parks web site at www.ohiostateparks.org and clicking on "Reservations".

In addition to our golf course, there are many activities available for visitors to Hueston Woods State Park for either a day trip or extended family vacation.  Hueston Woods Marina rents boats ranging from canoes to pontoons.  The marina has a snack bar and store which stocks all of your fishing needs.  Hueston Woods Nature Center displays a cougar, bobcat, snakes, turtles and many other hands on educational displays.  It is also the location of a raptor rehabilitation center that cares for injured raptors.  Different species of owls, hawks and eagles can be viewed at this facility.

Trail hiking, picnicing, swimming, fossil collecting... the list of activites at Hueston Woods State Park is abundant and waiting for you!
