We, the members of Tired Iron owe a great debt of gratitude to our departed friend Hobart Young. As many
of you know, Hobart named our club in his will. The proceeds from the bequest have allowed us to pay our debt on
our land in full.

Some members of Tired Iron have been busy during October, 2007. We had a good representation at the Grove,
OK, Pelican Festival parade and at the Flying Cow Arena north of Grove.
Later, several members took displays to the Bentonville, AR, Spanker Creek Craft Show,
Oct. 17-21. Our working, scale model IH baler was a big hit at the show. Anthony Hartfield and the baler were
featured on the KNWA News on Wednesday of that week. Larry and Pat Morrison were in the background of the broadcast.
Chuck Ritchison was shown baling hay in a photograph in Sunday's Springdale Morning News.
During the same weekend several members displayed tractors and trucks at the Gentry,
AR, Pioneer Days Festival.
