Greetings to all, I hope this communication finds you all well.
October was an interesting month for our chapter. BK X has
received approval from Blue Knights International to proceed
with our BK Beret. On 29 October we ordered 200 beret patches
which should be ready for delivery in about 4 weeks. By the
time the patches have arrived we should be in receipt of our
first Beret order so please forward your hat size to Art.
We don't want anyone left out!! It’s my understanding that
the finished Berets will sell for $20 each, most members
are planning on ordering the black color.
We are purchasing the patches from Accent Embroidery,
a manufacturer. Accent also sells embroidered clothing. I
acquired their catalog and price list so now we have a source
for having club jackets made. Maybe we can think up some
designs at the next meeting.
The October meeting at Mohegan/Sun resulted in new officers
