John, Dennis, Wild Bill, and Jim particpated in the Special Olympics Benefit Ride on Sunday, July 18, 2004.

Ride started in Glastonbury and we were escorted by at least ten different local police motor units plus the state police.  The ride was approximately 55 miles ending at "Illusions" in New London.

This was an exceptionally well run benefit ride!  State and local police escorts did a fine job as usual.  We all ate very well at the end and for the cost of just $20.00 per bike, it was well worth it!  I am already looking forward to doing it again in 2005!

We proudly represented the Blue Knights with many riders asking us questions about our fraternity.  Steve Woodcome from Mass Chapter Three rode with us and we were glad he was able to come along!

Chapter ten meeting.

We met for breakfast at the Mohegan Sun.  Items in discussion:

1.  Chapter Ten is co-hosting the 2nd annual Relay for Life Motorcycle Run to benefit the American Cancer Society.  PLEASE MARK YOUR Calendar,  This is going to be held on September 12, 2004 in Windham CT.
This is our largest event of the year.  It will cost $20.00 and will include an escorted ride and lunch.  We will be assisting in planing this as well. 

2.  Reminder to all that we will pariticipate next weekend with a benefit ride that begins in Glastonbury for the Special Olympics.  Many of us are planning to go.  Please join us if you can.  (Email previously sent on this)

3. Rod and Dennis gave us a ride report on their trip to Nova Scotia.  The pictures were terrific!

After our meeting, Bill led us on a forty plus mile excursion on very scenic back roads.  This ended at the DD in Colchester.  (Great job Bill).
