Since about 1986, I have developed several support rigs which operate on the same theory as the Steadicam, but with ongoing variations and preferences of my own. I have also operated a number of Cinema Product's Steadicam models ( I, III, EFP, JR, DV ) and taught their theory and operation in a workshop in New York City in November, 1999.

Stay tuned for my upcoming DV model, which is designed not only to provide the smooth flight of a Steadicam, but will also Jib the camera from floor to head height, during any move, with full Pan/Tilt and Camera function control throughout! (Limited to Small-format DV's, like XL-1 and PD-150)
