Chapter Disaster Workers Who Joined the Hurricane Andrew Relief Effort

The National Capital Chapter is proude of the 16 paid and volunteer staff members from its ranks who joined Red Cross relief efforts after Hurricane Andrew. The training and experience gained by these individuals during major disasters helps not only those whose lives have been uprooted by the forces of nature, it also serves people here in our community when they go into action to provide Red Cross assistance to the victims of fires and other common local emergencies.
