Short Fiction

I've always loved TV shows like Star Trek and The Twilight Zone. I've also loved the great short stories of Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke and Issac Asimov. To the left you'll find two of my humble contributions to the literature of outlandish ideas.

Addiction is a story I wrote for a creative writing class a few years ago. It's a traditional science fiction story about a new technology and the human being who isn't ready to cope with the abilities it provides him.

If At First... is a story I wrote back in 1988 -- long before time loops were featured on Star Trek or in movies such as Groundhog Day. It's a work of speculative fiction about a person who refuses to grow emotionally and face an uncertain future.

Please feel free to send me a note and let me know what you think of these stories. If you would care to republish them, I'd be happy to talk terms with you.
