He gave generous assistance to many people in the United States who came from his home town, helping them to find a house and a job. Also he warmly welcomed the Japanese newcomers in his city after the war. One day, Junzo taught fishing in America politely to a Japanese couple who were fishing on the beach on Long Island. They are still alive.
