Toni Watson has been with the group for almost 25 years. She has served as facilitator for the past 14 years. Wilma Yeo was her great mentor and friend. Toni is a graduate of the Children's Literature Institute (and published in their Favorites anthology) and long time SCBWI Member. She has been published numerous times in Cobblestone magazine and is now considered an assignment writer for them. She has published in Odyssey magazine as well. Toni's poetry appears in Jane Yolen's Alphabestiary anthology as well as in the Kansas City Writers' Seasons of Light.   She is passionate about the group and says that collectively and individually this group has the "best ear and biggest heart" of any writer's group around!!
