Working from a wide variety of
professional and personal experience, Diane Samson can provide writing, reporting and editing for newspapers, corporate communications
and animal publications. Her experience includes writing for magazines such as Dairy Illustrated, Today’s
Breeder and Dealer Progress magazine, where she also served as managing editor. While employed in public relations
at Ralston Purina Company, Samson wrote for and helped design numerous internal communications publications, including magazines
and newsletters. Freelance projects include writing brochures, press releases and articles for The Kansas City Star.
Samson earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating in 1992, cum laude.
Samson is also a graduate of the
Institute of Children’s Literature, a member of the Juvenile Writers of Kansas City and the Heart of America Christian
Writers’ Network. In addition, Samson has a passion to write for young people.
