Susan Kneib Schank is a writer who lives in Parkville, Missouri with her husband and daughter. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Missouri Writers’ Guild, Heart of America Christian Writers Network, and the Juvenile Writers of Kansas City. Schank has published several pictures books, many articles, poems, and devotions in children’s and adult books and magazines. Schank is also a Library Media Specialist in the Kansas City, Missouri School District. A former science teacher, board member of Lakeside Nature Center, and a lifelong gardener, Schank is also a Brownie Girl Scout Leader and devoted “dance Mom”.
