Class objective:

The classes are designed to teach students ways to channel their energy in a positive way, learn self discipline, respect for others, self-defense, enhance memory skills, improve flexibility and physical conditioning, improve multi tasking skills along with improving eye hand coordination. We also offer tournament training for the AOK & TKO tournament circuits at no extra charge.

Style of martial arts:

The style we teach is a combined style of American Kenpo and American Tae-Kwon-do, where students will learn the multiple strike street wise self defenses of American Kenpo along with the American Tae-Kwon-Do’s powerful blocks and kicks.

We are currently teaching ages 5 & up (including adults at the Cedar Hill location)

Location: City of Cedar Hill Recreation Center (310 East Parkerville Rd. Cedar Hill, Texas)

Dates: (Regular Class) Monday & Wednesday

Times: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Or 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Tournament practice: (Cedar Hill location only) Saturdays 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

(dates and times for Saturday class may vary depending on tournament schedule).

Location: City of DeSoto Civic Center (211 E. Pleasant Run Rd. DeSoto, Texas)

Dates: Tuesday & Thursday

Times: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Fees:

$30.00 per month

$18.00 for each belt test

Testing results:

Phillip Wells - Promoted to 9th Gold Belt

Jr. awards for 1st - 4th place at end of the season, all other competitors receive a certificate for competing

1st Place = 5 Points
2nd Place = 4 Points
3rd Place = 3 Points
4th Place = 2 Points
Did not place but participated in a event = 1 Point

Must be an active student to recieve year end awards.
