Nascar's credibility has now dipped from zero into negative territory. How many great races are going to be spoiled because
NASCAR simply refuses to realize that they are a sport first and entertainment second? The NEXTEL cup is now - for lack of
better words - a Goddamn Circus. And I for one am fuckng sick of it.
Anybody who claims that all this fucking bullshit drama is good for the sport should have their fucking head examined.
What could be one of the best championship showdowns in years is being TOTALLY ruined by all of this childish nonsense. What
is the point of getting all into a race when some dumbfuck like Stewart can be COUNTED ON to mess everything up? What's the
fucking point? ANSWER ME, dammit!
And, here's the thing... it is all so TOTALLY UNNECESSARY! Stewart had easily the most dominant car of the race. Stewart
himself said "We didn't need the accident with him to win the race." That's right, asshole, you didn't. You could
easily have won the race - fair and square - but noooo...
I'm going to Yosemite for 4 days tomorrow so I won't know what action they'll take until I get back. But I got a guess....
Ray Evernham had some choice words for both Stewart and NASCAR after the race - saying what Tony relly needed was "a
good beating", and reiterated what KARNUBAWAX has said all along - that someone is going to get killed before this season's
over if NASCAR doesn't grow some nuts. "Is someone going to have to get hurt? Is that what it's going to take... before
they do something?" said Evernham.
NASCAR has been lauded mostly by kiss-ass commentators as a sport that listens to its' fans. Well, listen up NASCAR...
You suck! It is truly amazing how fast this sport has become a laughing stock. I love this sport because I love racing
and not this childish melodrama! I know you believe in that ol' bullshit saying "any publicity is good publicity"
- which, actually only true assholes really believe - but you are really fucking up! You are driving away most of your old
fans in favor of big bucks. It WILL bite you in the ass, ultimately.
