Entangled Swell (2005)
As if taking a walk into Escher’s prints or the Winchester House, KO&Co.’s Entangled Swell creates a choreographic experience in which the dancers move, alter, and interact with a changing landscape of six 4’x8’ multi-dimensional interactive wood sculptures created by set designer and sculptor Matt Soule. In a dialogue between dancers and sculptures, the physical interactions of the two makes a space all its own. In the round, each audience’s vantage point allows for an individual view of this world as it unfolds, with all its own hidden moments, tangled forms and changing landscapes.
