Here's Bo, W4TGL of Summerville, Ga. Hill (Bo)
Bohannon was a B-17 pilot during WWII who served with the 15th Air Force, 5th Wing, 2nd Bomb Group, 49th Squadron stationed
in Italy. Bo's bomber was shot down over Germany and he remained a POW for the remainder of the war. Always a
friendly voice on 3885 kc!

Here's the business end of the "Aluminum Overcast"
B-17 that came to Rome, Ga a while back. Look familiar Bo ?

Pretty awesome, huh !

Can you guess who belongs to this remarkable transmitter
?

This "bookshelf transmitter" is the handy-work of Clyde
K4UXK of Columbia Tn. A single 833 modulated by a pair of 833's. I've heard this rig on both 160 and 75 and it
sounds absolutely
wonderful !

"Life is just another radio..." Here's Sam KF4TXQ
in his vintage shack, surrounded by some great sounding transmitters ! 'Little Hoss' (pair 813's modulated by 813's)
in the corner and to the left is one of Sam's T-408/URT-12
Coast Guard transmitters lovingly named 'Ursula' (pair of 4-65A's modulated
by 4-65A's). Sam is still looking for any manuals or information on the T-408.

Andy WA4KCY , President of the Southeastern AM
Radio Club sports a beautiful shack !

From this operating position Andy uses a
Gates BC-250 GY Broadcast transmitter and can choose
from several receivers including the SX-88, R-391, and SX-73. Modulation from the RCA ribbon mic is taylored by
the Gates
Producer console and Berringer compressor/limiter with a 2-channel 15 band
equalizer, giving superb broadcast quality sound ! The BC-250 GY
is just out of view to the left. More info can be found on Andy's website.

The Elmac AF-67 station sports a homebrew linear amp to add
just a bit more punch.
