Autobiography:

John Fletcher Beasley wrote a very detailed and descriptive autobiography in 1911, emphasizing much of the Civil War. Read this excellent account of the 8th Georgia Infantry, and the 3rd Georgia Cavalry.

Obituary:

"Last Tribute Paid - John F. Beasley"

Provo, March 31. - Funeral services for John F. Beasley, held yesterday in the First ward meetinghouse, were attended by many relatives and friends. Bishop O. H. Berg presided. The opening prayer was by Elder L. S. Jones. A sketch of the life of the deceased was read by W. H. Boyle. The speakers were John T. Giles, Bishop O. H. Berg and J. E. Booth. Vocal selections were rendered by the Bonneville ward quartet and Mrs. Frank Ramsey. The benediction was by Elder George Billings. The grave was dedicated by Bishop Berg.
