Biographical Notes:

Born February 8, 1832, Forsyth Co., Georgia.

Enlisted: July 16, 1861, at Manassas, Virginia.

Present March & April, 1864.

Wounded in Spotsylvania, severely on right hand, May 12, 1864.

Admitted to Jackson Hospital, Richmond, VA, May 16, 1864.

Furloughed May 21, 1864 for 60 days.

He was marked absent for September & October 1864, sick from wounds received on May 12, 1864.

Died October 30, 1896. Cause: Ambushed and killed on the way home, in Bartlet, Texas.

Buried in The Old Bartlett Cemetery, Bartlett, TX.
