Hollywood Memorial Asso.
Oct. 1918

Daniel's grave is visible through the arch. The flat stone directly behind Daniel's is Gen. David R. Jones, former Div. commander of the 8th Ga. Infantry in 1862.

Also in the cemetery are Edward Johnson, Walter H. Stevens, John C. C. Sanders, and John D. Imboden.

Daniel R. Towers' remains were dug up in the 1960's from his battlefield grave at Fort Harrison and reburied at Hollywood Cemetery.  There were bits of uniform cloth and bones still there.
