Curt-Teich Linen Era Cards
![]() |
The Linen Postcard Era ranged roughly from
the 1930's into the 1950's. These were interesting growth
and development years for Las Vegas. Curt-Teich postcards were all numbered, using a code that defined the date that the image on the postcard was captured. The bright colors, and historical significance of the images on these postcards, led me to collecting them. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, and had seen many of these same images in my early years. The following is a list of all of the Curt-Teich Linen postcards I have been able to identify or collect over the years - I'm sure there must be more. Cards with checkmarks are in my collection ... BLUE checkmarks indicate I have extras to trade for cards I don't have. Click on the thumbnail icon to view a scanned image. Cards marked NB are non bordered cards, like the card at the left. If you know of other Curt-Teich linen postcards, from Las Vegas, that are not on this list, I'd love to hear from you. Email me at: Las-Vegas-Postcards@earthlink.net |

Another interesting series of Linen Era postcards was produced by Tichnor Brothers, which was published
by Smith & Chandler ... a store in Las Vegas. There is more on that series of postcards here.I have also compiled a list of Curt-Teich postcards for nearby Boulder City and Boulder Dam,
as well as a combined list of all the Curt-Teich linen postcards for Southern Nevada.I have arranged some of my favorite linen postcards into custom "folders" ...
topics include Fremont Street, the Strip, Las Vegas at Night, and City Views.
There is also a folder for Boulder Dam & Boulder City.
