     If you are in the beginning stages of involving yourself in the online dating scene, regardless of whether you are 16 or 76, it is hoped that you are reasonably aware of some of the very real dangers that you could be truly facing.  Generally, no potential damage has occurred prior to your actually meeting your prospective 'date' face-to-face.  However, you may already have shared your phone/fax numbers, residence and mailing addresses, if so, you have already increased your vulnerability.   For the sake of argument, let us assume that the only knowledge or contact you have already had with your potential dating prospect is that you have viewed his/her materials that he/she submitted to the online dating site.  Because you, for some reason(s) or another, you were more attracted to one dating site member than most of the others whom you reviewed their credentials.  In addition to seeing what he/she placed on the online dating site, you may have exchanged a couple electronic messages or the like through the communication channels offered by the online dating site.  If anything, the additional communicated information has made you even more interested in wanting to know more about this now focused upon individual.

     At this point, your good sense starts kicking in, and you start asking yourself some questions as to this other individual's character, his/her degree of personal honesty and integrity.  One question stands out, "How do you know that how he/she described him/herself on the dating site REALLY is true?"  If he/she had been telling the entire truth, then all is well, but if he/she had not been telling the truth about him/herself, then what????  There exists a way out of this dilemma, and it would not cost you a single penny and it is exceedingly easy to put into play.  Here is the procedure to follow:

     1.  Through the online dating site communication means, inform him/her that you are interested in him/her but that you would want him/her to do 
          something first before you would want to go any further in development of this potential relationship.  You tell him/her that you will pay the fee
          for the service and all he/she would have to do is to respond to a questionnaire that would be mailed out to him/her.  This would by necessity 
          require that he/she provide you with some type of identifying name (it does not have to his full name, in fact it can even be a pseudonym) as 
          well as a mailing address to which the questionnaire materials will be sent.  It is strongly advised that you also inform him/her that he can find

          who he/she says he/she is, then you have simply informed your dating prospect that you are a very wise and careful person and that you will 
          discover, from the results of the questionnaire, that he/she is a person who can be trusted  to possess good character and who is honest and 
          trustworthy - GREAT!  Of course, before you can know this you will have to have engaged us to send a PSSPQ to your selected prospect.  The 
          charge for this is $100.  If you are unaware of the PSSPQ, except for what has been said above on this page, then you too are advised to go to 
          to the web site, whose address is shown in the middle of this paragraph.

     2.  Here is what is entirely free.  After you have informed your prospective date that you would like him/her to respond to a questionnaire that you
          want to have sent to him/her (and for which you tell him that you are willing to pay for this questionnaire service) and that it is suggested that 
          he/she take a look at the already mentioned web site, you just sit back and wait.  If he says "OK", then what you have to do is explained in the 
          paragraph above.  HOWEVER, if he/she says "no" or simply says nothing and disappears into the 'folds of the online dating site, never to be 
          heard from again,' then you have successfully screened him/her out, most likely simply because he/she did not want to be subject to any
          screening for honesty and integrity, and by implication, truth-telling.   Believe me, this is extremely valuable information that could save you a 
          great deal of future difficulties.  The best part of it all at this time, is that this very valuable screening, done on your behalf, was done at no

      Are you aware that the process of screening is done in consecutive stages?  One such screening process that you might be familiar with and have actually seen in action is the screening of coins that is done in banks and other commercial enterprises that collect large numbers of coins daily.  These many many thousands of coins have to be counted and how is this done?  Almost always, coins are now counted mechanically.  Usually all the coins of various denominations are mixed together and simply dumped into the top of a machine.  The machine spins them around like in a washing machine, then the floor of the machine is changed to one with large holes in it.  In the old days, the only coins that were bigger than the holes were the silver dollars.  All the coins smaller than the dollars drop through to the next level, and are spun a little more.  The a new floor appears that has more holes in it but the holes are smaller than a 50 cent piece.  As a result, all the smaller coins fall through and only the 50 cent pieces slide off to the side to go into a separate section.  The remaining coins are then spun a bit more and a new floor appears that has holes in it slight smaller than a quarter.  The smaller coins fall through the holes and the quarters slide to the side into another section.  Then the machine spins a bit more and a new floor appears, but this time with holes just smaller than the width of a nickel.  You know now what happens, the nickels slide off and the remaining pennies and dimes fall through and are spun again, then the last floor appears and this floor has holes in it just barely larger than a dime.  This time the dimes fall through and leave only the pennies to slide in their separate sections.  If all the holes, in all the machine floors had counters on them that register each time a coin fell through, then at the end of the entire process, the machine would be in a position to KNOW just how many coins, of each coin denomination fell through all the holes; such information would reveal how much all the coins were worth. 

     A very similar example of screening can be easily mentally viewed by imagining a rock quarry.  They would break the huge rock down to smaller sizes.  Then they would screen them in much the same way as was done in the coin counting example,  The first screen size would be the largest and it would screen out the largest rocks.  Now imagine a series of screens,  each successive one having smaller size holes in it.  Each then successive screening would screen out the next largest rocks, then the next largest, then the next largest and so on until the last one.  After each screening, the quarry would pull off those rocks that would not go through the screen.  This then allowed the quarry to sell rocks of varying sizes, from the very largest and down to very small rock, which could even be nothing more than sand sized rocks.

     Except for the fact that when screening people for some reason or purpose, each screening level does not litterly have different sized holes but has some way of eliminating people because of some characteristic, which could be whether those peoples' characteristics were such as whether the person has had a particular disease in the past, the next screen could be whether the person has had another particular  disease, and so forth for various other diseases or medical problems.  At each screening level one would be in a position to know just what people had never had any of the focused upon diseases or medical conditions, or only had had one of  the diseases, or only had had two of the diseases/problems, and so forth until one could see if any of the group of people who had been screened for a collection of medical diseases had never had any of the diseases.  A type of screening regarding levels of concepts or abstract ideas is also quite possible is is frequently accomplished; ut is this type that will be discussed next.   Personal honesty/integrity may be considered a kind of collection of concepts.  Since the PSSPQ had been originally designed to diagnose the presence or absence (in varying degrees) of a generalized type of personal honesty/integrity upon which security clearances are awarded or denied,  based upon the definition of such created by the US Government regarding who should and who should not be granted high-level security clearance status.  The whole security clearance evaluation process is simply one of people being screened with the hope that a practical number of persons will survive all the screening and not be screened out at some level with respect to a single or multiple characteristic.  An easy to understand example is that an individual might survive all the screens for alcohol and drug abuse, mental/emotional disorders, financial difficulties, no past criminal type behaviors etc. etc., but be screened out by a single characteristic such as having a wife who is from Iran and all her close relatives (i.e., father, mother, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, etc.) still live in Iran.

     When a person who has made application to an online dating site and who has, in writing, described him/herself to be very different, on major moral matters/characteristics, than he/she actually is, this individual is a liar and is of exceptionally poor character.  For most members of this online dating site (or other such sites), it would be hoped that this kind of person is not on the site's membership rolls.  If and when a member asks another member to respond to a questionnaire that most certainly looks like it to is entirely capable of screening out liars and cheats. any such person (the targeted one) would be wise to screen him/herself right out of consideration BEFORE one is caught.  In a sense this is 'self screening' accomplished in place of perhaps some multiple level screening.  You would simply be creating an important screen by merely threatening to put your dating prospect through the very real screen of having to respond to the PSSPQ.  In the event that he would screen himself out by breaking off any further communication with you, is an important screening event that has taken place to greatly benefit you - AND FOR FREE.

    395, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425-0395 along with you prospective date's name (in some form or another) and
    his/her mailing address.  Also, be sure that your name/address is also given to Dr. Stone so that he will be able
     to accurately mail to you the resulting PSSPQ scores and interpretations.  [Please note that ONLY a bank
     cashiers check or a US Postal money order will be accepted for payment; Dr. Stone no longer wants to support

    PSSPQ customer is outside the USA, an International Money Order would suffice.

3.  When the above specified  payment and names/addresses have been received by Dr. Stone, he will then
     immediately mail to your online 'partner' a complete PSSPQ testing materials package.

4   When the completed PSSPQ testing package has been returned to Dr. Stone, he and his staff will score your
    online 'partners', compute the available prediction and then send this scoring information, along with
    appropriate interpretative materials, to you.

5.  Dr. Stone will retain your online dating partner's item response information, along with both your
    names/addresses for no longer than one month following the original scoring of the involved PSSPQ responses,
