After being retired for about a year, I have decided that the high cost of living in Northern Virginia and the performance of the Stock Market have conspired to prompt me to rejoin the working world.

A resume describing the employment activities of 41 years in the Computer/Internet world becomes very long and not necessarily applicable to my current quest for Part Time and / or Temporary Employment. I will attempt to summarize my requirements and recent experience in a few paragraphs. Should anyone want to read various versions of Resumes they can be found at lowell.html

My goal is to average 20 hours / week for about 42 weeks per year. Hours can be very flexible and the option of doing some of the work at home would be very attractive. Any activities similar to the ones described below would fulfill my search. Any other activities would be open to discussion. A small amount of travel could be included, but one of the important criteria is ease of access from Centreville.

Much of my time over the past few years has been spent remotely installing, testing, managing and troubleshooting network devices from an office and home desktop..
