And Now, a Word From My Lawyer

I'm thrilled you are here. I'm thrilled you are looking at the columns. I want you to spread the columns to your friends, neighbors, editors of your local paper. But there are a couple of things my lawyer wants you to remember.

First, I actually have a lawyer. He's a big guy named Phil. A really big guy named Phil.

Next, Phil wants you to remember that I own copyright on the columns. That means that you can't reprint them or send them in an email to your friends without permission and/or payment. You can, however, use my handy-dandy Send this Page to a Friend feature on the navigation bar on any page on this site. It sends my copyright information with the page. That makes Phil happy. And that's a good thing.

If you have a newsletter of some sort for your company or organization, I'd be happy to grant reprint permission for a single use reprint. But, Phil wants me to know about it BEFORE you reprint, so just email me at laurie@lauriesontag.com. Let me know the name of the newsletter, the organization, subscription base and why on earth you'd want one of my columns in your newsletter and I'll usually say "okey-dokey". So will Phil.

Phil likes to get paid. So, if you would like to reprint my columns or actually put my columns in your paper on a regular basis, email me at Laurie@lauriesontag.com. Don't forget, I'm cheap. But Phil's not. So pay me so I can pay Phil.

Finally, if you break the rules, Phil wants you to know that he has lots of people working for him. He likes to sue people. He's a lawyer. And he's huge.
