Diamond Point Vacation
Enjoy some well-deserved R & R at Discovery View Cottage
in beautiful Diamond Point, located between Port Townsend and Sequim, Washington. Discovery Bay, Strait
of Juan de Fuca, the Protection Island bird/wildlife sanctuary, and Mt. Baker are some of the sights you can see from this cozy cottage, including a lagoon that is
a favorite of migrating waterfowl, Canada geese, heron, and bald eagles.
We are close to fine dining, plenty of outdoor activity, and indoor entertainment as well.
You'll be less than an hour from ferries going to Victoria, Canada (in Port Angeles), Port Townsend, and the Seattle/Kingston
area. We are about an hour from the Olympic National Park, gateway to Hurricane Ridge, and many hiking, biking
and other recreational facilities. There are a multitude of area festivals, spring
through fall, including Sequim’s popular Irrigation Festival in May and our famous Lavender festival in late July.
Two bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with double bed), and two hide-a-beds (one queen
and one double) in the living room accommodate eight people, with a full bath, well-equipped kitchen, and sunny
dining area. A washer and dryer are available for guests staying a week or more. The front deck is great for relaxing
and enjoying the surrounding area and wildlife.
DVD/VHS Player, CD and Cassette player, radio, cable TV as well as
just a short walk to beach access areas, including a seasonal picnic area and boat launch.
