Twentyfive years ago, Marie Crouchet met Alexis Berry at a party.  Alexis told Marie that she liked her art and she thought that she could sell it.  Soon after that they formed a partnership that has lasted for a quarter century.  Marie’s medium was silk screening and her substrate was shirts. 

They opened a day stall at the historic Pike Place Market and delighted visitors to Seattle with their quirky and humorous wearable art for nine years.  Overlapping that time was a retail store in Ballard, “Mad Fish Sportswear”, that became a destination shopping trip for many loyal MA Graphics fans. 

After several years it became clear that juggling two venues was taking a toll on the creative processes, so they scaled back to just selling on the internet, doing outdoor art festivals and selling to wholesale customers.

In 2000, another artist joined the MA Graphics team.  Julie Oleson  has added her quirky humorous artwork to the line and the sky seems to be the limit for what they will come up with next.

Marie and Julie take much pride in the originality of their art and the smiles that they bring to peoples faces.
