Marie-Laure Ilie Presents Her Abstract Silk Wall Hangings

Ilie creates large, abstract compositions by combining layers of organza and hand-painted silk. Her unusual appliqué technique enhances the inherent sophistication of silk with rich, painterly effects. These paintings come ready to hang like tapestries. They can also be framed. For the past 20 years, Ilie has exhibited exensively in the United States and Europe. She has completed numerous successful commissions. Patrons include both residential and corporate collections.
