Dora and John Leung were long time owner/operators of their popular downtown eatery, JOHN L’s Cafe, which began as a small grocery store in 1949. She has now retired but continues to bake her famous homemade pies for special customers. John L's became a favorite of many San Antonio SPURS basketball players back in the 1990s and Dora is still a devoted, season ticket holding fan who never misses a home game.(Dora Leung) |
