May 13 - Bradley Pond

Report Pending           .
May 14-Green Point Farm WMA
Merrymeeting Audubon had a bird walk this A.M. with 19 folks at this birdy spot. The gorgeous weather did not, however, produce much of a fall-out of migrants. It was quiet.

Highlights:
Orchard Oriole (male) at 7:30 atop the high trees in the "Ditch". Unfortunately not seen by all.
10 warblers, including territorial Chestnut-Sided.
Also 1 Nashville
1 Northern Waterthrush
Several each of Yellow and Myrtles.
As many as 4 Bald Eagles
1 Harrier
1 Sharpie
2 Broadies.
Other local nesters included No. Rough-winged Swallow
Warbling Vireo
Several Baltimore Orioles
One of the local squadron of young-of-the-year Red Foxes was seen pouncing on a small rodent (?). The rest of his cohort have dispersed.
