The Recovery

Much of my recovery is documented on the MGH Braintalk Spinal Disorders forum.  This forum has been my best source if information.  It’s very busy.  If you post a question about a medication or a procedure, you’ll get many responses from people who have first-hand experience with whatever you are asking about.  Unfortunately, there is a lot of drama there and some unpleasantness that goes along with any crowded Internet forum.  However, the support and technical information there is unmatched (in my opinion).  Ignore the BS… take what you need… help out as much as you can.

5 1/2 months post-op, 2-level Charité ADR - Minor setback?  (3/9/03)

I apologize for being gone for so long. My setback turned out to be the normal ups and downs that many post-op patients suffer. Unfortunately, an unrelated problem caused me to have knee surgery in April of 2003. Since then, athletics have been out, but my lumbar spine has not been a problem. My family and I have continued to enjoy life, returning to normal.

2-year post-op udate!
