HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT GRADING CRITERIA

** Homework is worth 10 points per day **

** Homework must be done neatly on lined paper in the following manner in order to receive full credit:

ü  Use pencil or black/blue ink only

ü      Full heading in upper right-hand corner

ü      Copy all problems

ü      Show all work (this will count for the majority of the points)

ü      Circle all answers

ü      Make corrections when we go over problems in class

 ***Heading must include:

full name, date, period and what the assignment is

I grade homework assignments on the amount of effort that was put into it, not on the number of problems that are right or wrong.  As long as you have done the entire assignment and completed it in the manner described above, you will generally receive full credit for the assignment. An exception to this would be if, when grading your assignment, I feel that you did not understand the concept of the lesson.  In this instance you would be required to do the assignment or a portion of the assignment again, but for full credit. When we go over homework problems in class you are to make notes and corrections on your homework so that you may later study from these when preparing for a quiz or test.  The questions on my quizzes will come directly from your notes/homework so it is very important that your notes and homework are complete and accurate in order to study from them.

** All HW/CW must be done in pencil or blue/black ink!! **
