Cottage

We want you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay at Create-away Cottage.  Following is what we offer and what you will need to bring for your retreat.  

Parking and Loading / Unloading

A paved drive-thru carport provides a sheltered entrance and allows for easy loading and unloading.

A lighted gravel parking area will accommodate up to 10 vehicles.

Bedrooms

The cottage has 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 14 persons.  One bedroom is downstairs and two are upstairs.

Each bed has a comfortable mattress, pillow, fresh bed linens, and a specially made quilt. If you prefer to use your own pillow be sure to bring it with you.

Bathrooms

The cottage has 3 full bathrooms; one located near each bedroom.  The downstairs full bathroom has a handicap-equipped shower.  There is an additional half-bath on the first floor.

Towels and washcloths are provided in each bathroom.
You will need to bring your own shampoo, soap, and other personal grooming products.

Meals

We are happy to provide delicious meals during your stay.  Or if you prefer, your group may use the fully equipped kitchen for your own meal preparation.  Also, several restaurants are within a 10 mile radius including the renowned Clark's BBQ in Tioga.

Laundry

A washer and dryer are provided.

Clothing

Layers are recommended.  It can be difficult to find a thermostat setting that makes everyone comfortable.  Wearing layers allows you to adjust your wardrobe as needed.

Project Supplies

We supply good lighting, ample power plugs, sturdy tables, and comfortable chairs.  Full-size ironing boards and design walls are also available.

Bring your sewing, scrapbooking, and/or crafting supplies and you’re ready to create-away!
