PEACEFUL SCHOOLS PROGRAM
For
schools - a more peaceful learning
environment through building self-esteem,
nurturing a sense
of community and belonging, and teaching
peaceful conflict resolution skills.
THE PEACEFUL SCHOOLS PROGRAM
works with elementary-school children in
the classroom and other settings, helping
them to affirm
each other and improve their self-esteem
while developing good communication,
cooperation, and
conflict-resolution skills. The program
also offers training to teachers and
parents so they can
implement and continue the process with
the children in their care. Peaceful
Schools utilizes
materials and approach developed by the
highly successful Children's Creative
Response to
Conflict and is a component part of AVP.
