*Prison Workshop. You may go
into a prison four times a year as a visitor. Or,
you must submit an
application and be approved by the Dept. of
Corrections and then take their volunteer
training, which we
highly recommend. Volunteer applications are
available from the New Foundations office and on
the
DOC
website,
https://exdoc.state.co.us/userfiles/FORGES/pdf/2006_volunteer_application.pdf.
(Once
you put in your application, you may no longer go
in as a visitor.)
Please
note: if we have ten or more
people from the community interested in an AVP
workshop, we can schedule an additional workshop
at our office.
