I know what you're thinking... "What kind of freak devotes a whole page to a note taker?" This kind of freak! So hear goes!

So what is a BrailleNote??

A BrailleNote is a small note taker that runs on WINDOWS CE.

What is Windows CE?

Windows CE is a stripped down version of Windows. It is used on palm sized computers.

So the BrailleNote is like a palm pilot?

Kind of, when I work with the BrailleNote I don't really feel like I'm in Windows. The BrailleNote runs on Windows CE, but I work with a program called KeySoft, a suite of programs that are designed with the blind in mind. I have the power of windows CE, but I don't have to jump through all of the hoops like getting a screen reader and getting it to work right.

What exactly does this BrailleNote do?

Well... It has a Word Processor, Planner, Address List, E-mail, Book Reader, and scientific calculator, web browser and soon an Mp3 player.

Can you use it for school?

Of course! I even wrote some of the coding on the BrailleNote. I wrote it as a text file and sent it to my laptop!

So as you can see, I love the BrailleNote. But I've got one more page to type right now, so I'll see ya later!
