Becoming a member of Americans for Democratic Action is simple and affordable. It's just $60 for a family, $45 for an individual, $25 for an individual with limited income, and $15 for a student. For that price you become a member of national ADA and the local chapter. The national sends our members updates on what's going on in Congress, who they should write to and why, national elections and international issues, while the chapter deals with the issues which move the local community. With a New York City membership, you get a subscription to NYCADA's Agenda for Action, which includes information about City issues, the chapter's endorsements, and our work to make the city a better and more livable place. It also entitles you to vote at our meetings, which are open to the public, but only members in good standing can cast votes (for endorsement of candidates, election of board members and officers, and decisions on positions we hold).
