Volleyball Skills Development Class

Head Intructor: Eugene Burt
(11 years as AVE instructor; 46 seasons of coaching experience at the High School and Club level; USAVolleyball Coach Accreditation Program Level 3 accredited)

This class is for people who are new to volleyball and those whose basic skills need improvement. Emphasis is on learning the rules and strategies of volleyball and developing the basic skills of the game. Combines our former Beginner and Intermediate 1 classes into one.

Location: Nathan Hale High School gym
Mondays, 7:30 - 9:30 pm, September 17th - October 22nd
Fee: $60 (for 6 weeks) Maximum enrollment: 15
Scheduled gym closures: None



Advanced Intermediate Class
Head Intructor: Herman Chin
(20 years as AVE instructor; Boeing VB instructor; High School coaching experience)

This class emphasizes advanced skill drills with some game playing for those with proven volleyball abilities. Course polishes individual skills and works out common team problems of the 6-2 play system. Teams are encouraged to enroll together.

Location: Nathan Hale High School gym
Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:30 pm, September 19th - October 31th
Fee: $65 (for 7 weeks) Maximum enrollment: 42
