After my family emmigrated from Ireland I attended St. Mary's Academy in Los Angeles and graduated in 1958. I met Neil
at an Irish dance after he got out of the army. We have four grown children.
We
owned and operated a chicken ranch for 35 years starting out with 300 hens and ending up with 40,000 when we decided to retire.
We still live on the ranch in Southern California, but keep only a handful of chickens to provide us with fresh eggs.
I belong to a Writer's workshop in my town. They were so helpful in my quest to
write my story and I thank them for that.
I am slowly working on
the second half of my story, dealing with the trials and tribulations of living a farmer's life in the heart of a small city
while raising four children.
