About Us
Bill and I have been married for 40 years (2007) and we have been breeding and showing under the Waccabuc Great Danes kennel name since 1969. We've been active over the years in conformation, obedience/rally, tracking, freestyle, & therapy work. We believe that Great Danes have Great minds and, as they say: "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." We added Whippets to our lives in 1996 and are involved with lure coursing and other Whippet activities as well.
Bill retired from the USAF after 20 years
and now works as a Human Resources & Training Advisor for Engility Corporation , a government
contractor, in Massachusetts. Betty is a Holistic Animal Consultant
and interspecies telepathic communicator. Her practice is called Paws
& Reflect.

We have one son, Brian, who is a USAF Lt. Col. (select). He and Joy Smith were married in 1998. They and their children, travel and live where the Air Force sends them, and they can be reached at affam5@gmail.com
