WEBSTER: Flounder-

1:  To make clumsy attempts to move or regain one's balance.
2: To proceed clumsily and in confusion.
3: To move or progress unsteadily and clumsily as if beset by obstacles.
If the destiny of  your family was faced with a sickness that threatened not only the massive fortune accumulated over generations but the possibility to even survive in the changing world, gambled billions  of dollars in search of a cure and you appealed to all your relatives and known experts in every associated field to no avail, would you search for any potential cure or would you “continue to proceed clumsily and in confusion”.
Ford and General Motors have chosen, by all definitions to Flounder.
Reduced to junk bond status by Wall Street, human service costs that threaten bankruptcy, shareholders
disillusioned by failure to lead instead of follow in technology represent a sickness that is curable.
They don't have to look under a rock for the cure. It is offered to them by the following letter, which invites them to look, at no cost or commitment, at technology that would restore them to their former leadership in the industry.
Technology that can cut the the demand for oil in half or more, eliminate toxic and particulate emissions, power safe, full sized cars at at least 3 times the gas mileage and reduce the production cost of vehicles.
After two full months, without a response of any kind from either company, this technology will be offered to their more aggressive and progressive competitors.

More than 20 years ago a large group vigorously opposed and rejected technology that cut cost of manufactured products. They are known worldwide to this day as LUDITES. Global Industrial Associations, under the guise of standardization are in fact corporate LUDITES.

FORD  AND PHILLIPS have wasted over 100 million dollars fumbling, unsuccessfully,  with the Stirling heat engine, a 200 year old technology that  has never been  commercially capable of running anything but a household  fan.
GM and FORD are guilty of  numerous similar  follies, while ignoring this technology that is a greater advance in engine technology than the diesel or the Gas turbine. In refusing to take their heads out of the sand and spend airfare from Detroit to Raleigh NC for one or two technicians to explore the validity of this technology is a travesty to their shareholders, employees, the environment and the buying public.
The following letter was sent  and received USPS certified  mail to every   individual board member,  of Ford Motor Company  on July 15. 2005 and the   individual board  members of General  Motors on 16-18, 2005.

JULY 8, 2005
FROM:  NELSON / TYWA POWER CORP.
T0:        All officers  and  board members  of Ford and General Motors
SUBJECT : Offer to  license  breakthrough technology that makes Hybrids and fuel cell  concepts obsolete and /  or impractical.
With all due respect:
As  officers and directors you owe  your shareholders an honest, thorough  and objective consideration of this  revolutionary power train  technology, developed and being patented world  wide.
What  is offered is a radical new power train that is totally  compatible  with all  present  vehicle designs but its unique characteristics  provides your engineers  a tool to design vehicles that make  hybrids and fuel  cell concepts obsolete and  impractical.
With  less than 10% of moving parts,  no expensive sophisticated electronics,  is cheap to manufacture, assemble,  operate and maintain results  in substantial reduction in your finished product  cost.
This  economy coupled with ZERO TOXIC and PARTICULATE emissions and  greatly  improved fuel mileage will appeal to a wide segment of your market  and  allow everyone to return to their full sized vehicles from  which fuel costs and  environmental regulations have denied a major  portion of your market.
I am  inviting Ford and General Motors  to send, separately, an individual or small  group of technicians  to view and discuss the proto-type at my North Carolina  facility.  These people will be given adequate disclosure for you to decide  your  interest in a formal licensing agreement.
This offer is  being made, initialy,  to American manufacturers to help them regain  their former leadership in the  industry. but will eventually be  granted to all major engine builders.
Time  is of the essence,  consequently your prompt response is extremely critical.
